This is fantastic! Look at the wonderful controllers! The more experimental setups we see like this, the better and better our shots will become. We should always be neophytic espresso junkies.

I appreciate your support, Anonymous, but I'm not sure if that is the case. Perhaps if I had fewer controls to fiddle with, I'd be less distracted and pull better shots. It sure makes for some interesting experiments, though.
Andy, One day i'll register, i promise, so i won't be anony. Your point is well taken. I'm just amazed at how shots continue to improve with testing, along with better understanding the variables. Perhaps I'm a little over the top, but that's the way I am. One theme that I have never swayed from is Nothing is more important than the Barista!
With the Mini I can just take off the hopper to get to the cupboard. With the Robur, it's no big deal, I just have to move the 65 lb grinder from the countertop! :-)
Insane! And I thought having a 804 Ditting on the kitchen counter was da shit! 3 phase tops that!
ReplyDeleteI bow, Mr. Schecter!
I love it! It is the espresso counter I wish I had.
ReplyDeleteJudging from the pic, it appears that "overkill" isn't a major concern of yours... :)

ReplyDeleteAndy's Silvia can do everything, from smoked meat to deep fried chicken. Gotta get me one of those!

I'm guessing you don't use the cupboards much ;P
